North Stand Roof Going On.

Just been past the Mecca of Football.
A couple of photos of the north stand roof.
Not sexy blue translucent sheets like the east and west stands, but it will keep you dry.
Also, bumped in to a very enthusiastic Derek Chapman.
He seems well chuffed with progress.

There will be no green stuff.
That was the old plans that had a chalk mound at the back of the stands topped with grass.
Now the back of the stands are being used, so no chalk.

I think that the unsexy unblue untranslucent roof is only for the rear of the stand. I'm fairly sure there will be sex, blueness and translucence on the part that extends forward over the seating area.

I'm told it's the only section that won't be sexy, translucent and blue!
