Anybody know if the north corners are being built straight after the south corners are complete. Stadium is looking magnificent and fit for the Premier.:clap2:

Forgive me for being stupid, but how are they going to start that work whilst games are taking place at the ground?

Yeah that was my reaction too but I imagine putting in corners isn't as intrusive/disruptive as adding an upper tier to the East. The stadium is only in use for games twice a week maximum, that leaves five full days to crack on with the work.

They stop work whilst games are in progress. All NS STH's will be given hard hats with stripes.

Some people no clue.

This.
Wasn't the schedule:

NW and NE corners by Jan'13.
WS middle tier 1901 club extensions to the south and north by Aug'13.

The South extension is well on the way already, couple of months max for that end

That schedule means virtually constant work at The Amex over the next 12 months which is pretty impressive considering it will be an operational footie stadium for all but 3 months. It isn't just the obvious structural stuff but the fitting out behind the scenes which takes time too, plus the materials and equipment need to be on site too.

I guess the work to complete the ESU was probably the most challenging of the work going on but clever design work meant that it was do-able. Even the Fat Boy Slim gigs and other events have gone off ok during the close season so shows it can be done. I guess the NW or more likely the NE corner might be the phase as they need that to remain open for the cranes and structural stuff to gain access?

What with the new car park that has been built over the summer and the new Training complex to come at Lancing so soon after the Amex opening you can't criticise Tony Bloom for standing still. Not many Clubs have been able to achieve such projects in such a short timescale (once planning was finally agreed of course!).......and maybe a few more Clubs talk about doing it, but don't deliver. We are so lucky. Amazing stuff.

One would assume that turnstiles etc at one corner will be shut for duration of that build.... then visa versa.... also they won't actually be working on match days.

It was mentioned to me by someone very definitely 'in the know' at the club that the North corners would be completed December this year.

Originally, but it was announced a few weeks ago that it has changed.
The stadium will be completed ready for the last few home games.

I'm sure I read that the work was being brought forward and the Amex will be fully completed by March 2013, just in time for the season's CLIMAX! :)

end of March I think - going to look very very good
