Poor Norman has fallen off the wagon. It can't be coincidence that this has happened as we've fallen down the league. Get well soon Norm. No more Fatboy Skinfulls okay?

FATBOY SLIM has checked into rehab to fight his booze addiction, it was revealed last night.
The DJ — real name NORMAN COOK — booked himself into a specialist clinic on Monday.

His manager Garry Blackburn said: “Norman’s gone in voluntarily to sort out his drinking problem.”

A source added: “Norman decided that the only way to kick his booze addiction for good was to check himself into a clinic.

“He chose the centre in the South of England because it gets good results and is in a quiet location.”

Norman has made no secret of his love of drinking in the past.

He once said the only difference between himself and his alter ego Fatboy was “a bad Hawaiian shirt and a bottle of vodka”.

The star, 45 — who has a son with his wife, former Radio 1 DJ ZOE BALL — also said: “Sometimes it feels a little undignified but I never seem to get tired of getting drunk.

“I’ve tried going on stage sober and it wasn’t much fun. There’s a certain bravado involved in what I do.

“It takes a lot of alcohol to stop me thinking ‘What are you doing whirling that towel above your head?’”

Norman’s biggest hit songs include the 1999 chart-topper Praise You and The Rockafeller Skank.

brighton, actually
best way to quit, is to quit. i didnt need rehab, though..

'you've come a long way', and maybe feeling a bit 'rockafella skank',
but 'right here, right now', you got to do some 'soul surfing', remember to 'Praise you', and soon you;ll be 'gangster trippin' again.

anyway, best wishes - have a good rest, and try doing some new music while you are in, to keep busy.

Yeah, booze, that's what his problem is....
A tenuously related fact, I was looking in some womans style magazine (not sure where or why) about 7 years ago and they were doing a feature on his and zoe's brighton house. In one of the pictures of the bar area you could see the barstools had mitsubishi symbols in the pattern on the seat part which was white and pill shaped, the magazine didn't pick up on what it was a reference to,
I always thought that was quite a nice touch.

Nestling in green nowhere
Presumably he is in the Priory in Hove then.

He was looking pretty wobbly when I've seen him on TV recently.

He has drug problem too (allegedly) by his own admission. Top guy though and major Albion shareholder. He needs to be spinning the decks with Praise You at the first Falmer game.
