I very much doubt that. Our club tends to look for VFM across the board, and now we have a competitive squad in all areas. No £10m strikers here.
It's just that under Burke we were shìt at it. He was spending relatively big money on players who weren't up to it or didn't fit in.
So short sighted if they do get Allardyce. Yes, he has a great record of keeping teams up, but his record of doing any better than scraping survival isn't great, not to mention his awful brand of football.

Yes, but you actually have to submit them to be knocked back, which if i'm right Palace haven't even done that yet.

They certainly did and the fans were informed at all stages, how far has your application got and what is the application for?
They have, £4.8m. Although to Palace that will be £48,000 using their special exchange rate.

The Albion's first plans announced in October 2001 and the permission to build was first granted in October 2005, after a public inquiry. So 4 years for the application to be approved first time around.
Palace plans were unveiled in November 2011, so 5 years on how far have you got?

That was never an option, the NIMBY's would never have allowed it.
They would rather have the athletic stadium be used once a year and left alone.
