I find it quite plausible that we did accept Cardiff's last bid for Noone in January but he turned them down, as some people have said.
I'd take it if it was offered again.
For 1.7 million, I'll drive him down there if you fancy navigating
He has (hopefully had) no end product.Cannot believe the amount of people on here willing to let Noone go. Very short memories of his form at the beginning of last season. If we were 1-0 down with a team that has 'parked the bus', I can't think of a better player to open up a defence with dribbling ability. Lua Lua has had some excellent games like Derby at home but is he that reliable that we can just dismiss Noone? Personally I think our wingers are our strength and wouldn't want to lose any of them.
I'd rip their hands off for that cash for a winger who 9 times out of 10 either loses the ball or puts his cross out for a goal kick.

To be fair, you could be talking about Buckley from after the Newcastle game till the end of the season there
All of our wingers blow hot and cold. KLL and Buckley have shown flashes of brilliance but have also had games where it just hasn't happened. Nooney is exactly the same, but maybe his purple patch was confined to one period - remember when he was always man of the match?
Having the option to deploy any of the three, to suit the game or to cope with injuries etc, seems a very sensible strategy to me. And it certainly doesn't hurt to have a player in the squad with such a love of the game and a pride in what he does.
You could, but you'd be wrong.
He won a penalty in the very next game, and scored the winner in the game after that....(for starters)...
