Honestly? If they offered us a million and a half like last time, I'd take it.

I like him as a player, but he's not that important to us that we can turn down that sort of money. And LuaLua has the greater long term potential.

At least if he goes to Cardiff, he'll get to play in his boyhood team's colours :D

I would rather we kept him tbh. He's class and can open teams up. Especially if he's used as more of a super sub. Every player has his price but I'd rather we waited until Janurary to see how much of an influence he's having.

Love Noone and would gutted if he left but £3 million would soften the blow.

Exactly. Let us see how the season goes. He is the type of player who is irreplaceable, like for like. OK he did not keep his form all year but he had some really good games for us. With 7 on the bench he will be particularly useful.

I don't "hope" we sell him, but if he goes, he goes (for a decent price), I'm not going to stay up all night fretting over it. Good player, great lad, will always be popular down here. I just happen to think we have better options at the moment.

He was excellent in the first half of last season, but didn't really do anything in the second half. There were games when, with Buckley, LuaLua and Vicente around the team, that we just couldn't see Noone getting in again, and we were wondering if we shouldn't have just taken Cardiff's £1.5million when we had the chance.

If he stays, I'll be absolutely fine with it, and hope to see him tearing full backs a new one again next season. He's a great option to have, just perhaps not the first choice option. I'm merely saying that we'll be able to cope if he does go. He's not the be all and end all.

Think he lost his form towards the end of last season but that could simply have been because his head had been turned by the Cardiff interest.

If they improved their offer then I would be seriously tempted. Strength in depth is one thing but do we need three players covering each position? No. Could the money be used to dramatically improve other positions? Quite possibly yes.

Any offer over £1.5M has to be taken seriously.

He was also suffering from hamstring problems,Poyet said it was a problem right up to the end of the season.Noone was fantastic before he picked up that injury and Cardiff know it.

Hmm, short memories. Noone was by far our most outstanding player for at least the first third of the season. Got injured, lost form, "replaced"/couldn't be accomodated with vicente in the team, whatever. Would not like to lose him (unless £2mill + haha)

Noone was untouchable at the beginning of the season . After this he had good games but so often lacked that final ball. On his day is absolute game winner but his day wasn't produced enough after the opening 2 months of the season.

We have depth in this position so anything over 1 million and happy to sell
