Been after this shirt for a long time, and finally bought it off eBay earlier this week for £10.
Arrived today. Brillo! Thanks if it was anyone on here that sold it.
Might wear it to training tonight! :clap2:

It's a beauty! Wore one of mine to a Millwall game at the New Den a few years ago, got a chant of "who's the wanker in the pink?" from the Millwall wits.

I must have set the standard though, as the follwing season there were loads of pink shirts being worn by the Millwall fans.

Was that the Johnny Crumplin player issue one I sold you on ebay some years back, Phil? I doubt you will ever see one of those again.

Have to say at a tenner you have had a result there, Sam

Made me laugh, I still have mine and remember wearing this all those years back at school PE lessons (Guildford) and was called KNOBO for the remaining 3 years of my school life. Never really helped when I explained NOBO was actually a visual aids company.

Yeah, I was prepared to spend £20. I was the only person to bid on it (£10 was the starter price). It's large boy / small adult, which I imagine put a few people off, as most shirts on eBay are for fat gits! XXXXL, etc.

I don't wear the JCFG matchworn shirt, but I occasionally wore my replica version. tend to keep them all bagged up these days though.

I think £10 was also good value, but there seems to be little rhyme or reason with eBay these days, one month you can't shift a shirt for 99p, then a couple of weeks later you list it again and it goes for a load more.

Yeah, I noticed you had the reversible gold Man Utd top for sale the other day and it was going for £20+ (I think). I tried to sell that for a mate of mine about a month or two ago. Had a starting price of £4.99 (I think), and it didn't sell. I sell quite a bit on eBay, so have a good rating, and know where to list stuff, etc. I wondered if it was simply because your account is about selling football tops. Who knows! Odd.

Got another one of those to sell now, not quite so good condition, and it's a youths size, but who knows.
I find the trick is also to pitch your starting price correctly. You may be expecting to get £5, £10, or whatever, but if it is a relatively modern shirt, I tend to start it at 99p, knowing it will go up from there. That said, if it owes you money, you need to be sure it will sell for what you need to realise.
If it is older than say 2000, there is a good chance it will be desirable, and worth putting a higher start price.
In my experience Ingerland shirts are a waste of time, as are kids size shirts from the last 10 years. Italian club sides are normally popular, and if you have a 1992 Man U Newton Heath shirt (green and yellow) you should expect to realise an absolute minimum of £50, and if it is good, and badged up, £100+ is not out of the question. Liverpool Candy shirts, and Crown Paints shirts almost always go for good money, see this one Liverpool Crown Paints shirt
Oddly enough, right now, USA shirts are also very popular.
