Police have said there was no significant antisocial behaviour problem after the Albion's clash with Leeds United on Saturday.
A Sussex Police spokesman said the aftermath of Brighton and Hove Albion's 1-0 defeat was "quiet".
When the clubs met in October 2004, 15 people were arrested after a clash at the Pump House pub in Market Street, Brighton.

The spokesman also said there was no serious trouble after England's defeat to South Africa in the Rugby World Cup final on Saturday evening.
