Do you think this means we're not going to be in for another striker? Really hope not as think we need to sign another to have real competition for places up front.
From Today's Argus:
Albion boss Micky Adams is backing Glenn Murray and Nicky Forster to continue their prolific partnership in League One next season.
Adams is happy with the strike force he has inherited and believes with better service they can score even more goals.
Murray finished with a total of 19 last season, nine of them for Albion following his £300,000 move from Rochdale in January.
Skipper Forster, 34, bagged 19 goals in his first season with the Seagulls after a £75,000 switch from Hull last summer.
Adams said: "They have both got good goalscoring records and we hope that will continue next season.
"The club are very lucky that they managed to find £300,000 to buy Murray. You would think only the top clubs in the division would be able to afford to spend that sort of cash on forward players.
"It was a big call. When I was at the club previously we spent £100,000 on Bobby Zamora and that was about it.
"You can never guarantee a player is going to settle and when you spend £300,000 at this level it is always a risk but he looks a terrific player.
"I haven't seen a great deal of them as a pair but Nicky Forster has a fantastic goalscoring record throughout his career and the way I want us to play I would hopefully think they will get a few more chances.
"As a pair they look as if they have goals in them. What we will have to try to do is make sure they get into the right areas again and that we get the ball in the right areas. If we do that then I have no fears they will continue in the same sort of vein."
Adams will discover Albion's first midweek opponents on Friday when the draw is made for the Carling Cup. Their League One fixtures are announced next Monday.
