No Albion DVD's to be released

Went in the club shop today and was told that the club has cancelled plans to release "diary of a season" on DVD because the demand did not justify the cost. I was also told that there would be no dvds in the near future.

Great. Can't watch videos produced in England as they use the PAL format whereas Japanese telly is NTSC. Got a DVD player that plays all regions and both formats though.

Thats my chance of catching up on some games out the window.

sussex ccc are bring out a dvd so why can't we?? maybe its because the videos are not selling so the club don't think there will be a high demand due to the fact we got relegated but surely its gotta be down to we all waiting for the dvd?!?

Yeah, they should put the championships vids on one DVD.

And maybe do a 'classic games' DVD too.

Not surprised they're not bothering with last season though. How many would they sell? 500? 1000 tops?

The authoring alone would probably cost £1,000+. High production costs on a short run etc etc.

Also, I still think a DVD would show just how poor the footage is - it terms of picture and sound quality, not just the football.

its not very good of the club to not make an announcement as i went in about a month ago and while at the till just asked if they had a date for the dvd and he said they'd cancelled it so i bought the video.

shouldve posted it on here really
