I saw it last night and loved it. Nixon was funny, I want to vote for him.

"sons of whores..."

It may be my favourite film of the year so far.

Not particularly accurate, but great film.

Only thing that slightly annoyed me were the interview with the actors as they were remembering the time.

Bit of a cop out I thought in telling the story..

Anyway - really good film even if you don't know about the original interviews.

Good film - perhaps a little dissapointing in that it wasn't anywhere near a masterpiece, but well worth seeing all the same. Much funnier than I thought I thought it was going to be, but also very tense. I can believe there is some historical innacuracy - the whole build up to the last day seems to defy credibility to me somewhat. Michael Sheen is fantastic as ever though.

Clapham, I'm guessing you saw it at the Picturehouse, was it busy?

Sell out I think. Don't often go to the cinema, and haven't been there for a few years.

Whilst sitting there watching the film with a glass of wine in a seat so comfortable I thought I was in first class, I thought to my myself I must do this more often.

In fact I might join as it goes.

Pretty much everything surrounding the interview is made up I think, the phone call for instance didn't happen.

But I really enjoyed it (takes a quite a bit for me to enjoy a film to be honest) and the bloke playing Nixon deserves an oscar.

Yes, ever since they refitted around last November('07) it's been very nice in there!

I'm looking forward to seeing it myself as I quite like that period in US history. I still think in the trailer though, the bloke playing Nixon looks a bit like Brezhnev!
