my boys (17 & 14) had one for Christmas and they do enjoy it, but not as much as I thought they would. They still play on Gamecube and PS2 a lot. Maybe its because there isn't too many games specifically for Wii.

The novelty factor wears off quite quick. The lack of games isn't helping....

On Wii boxing, I had my heart rate monitor on from when i'd been running and my heart rate was about 70% of its maximum. Needless to say I more often than not opt for wii golf that I can play from the comfort of my sofa.

Mortal Kombat is out for the Wii at the end of May, and I can't wait.

if you have friends, or at least other people to play it with, then yes it's worth it.

Wii Sports, although basic, is fab and I could play it lots - bowling especially. I don't actually play it lots but that's cos, for a while, I've not been a big gamer.

Zelda is ace and Smooth Moves looks well worth owning too. Beyond that, there's not a lot around still - but there's a lot to come that promises to be very good.

To be honest I am not a massive games fanor into the really serious stuff.

The Wii seems appealing for having mates round, having a few beers and a bit of a laugh
