I've heard it's basically going to be a Wii, with HD graphics and slight improvements. Not very Nintendo-like, I'm sure they've got something groundbreaking up their sleeves.

they could re-release the gamecube as Wii 2, if it came with the new fandled controlers, wii fit boards etc. gamecube wasnt so much a disaster as a damp squib with nothing to compete against Xbox and PS2. Nintendo have rediscovered their niche now: kids, families and women (my missus wants one).

The Gamecube would have been less of a flop if they had decided to utilise the 3D gaming technology similar to the 3DS that it had built in it from the very beginning!!

i read that it will be hd and have graphics that put the ps3 and x box to shame, and that games will be played on micro sd cards rather than disks. it will, however, be backwards compatible with the wii as well

i for one hope that bozza does the decent thing and shuts nsc down for the announcement so that we can all give it our undivided attention
