Set off for Hounslow this morning at around 7:30 ish

Took half an hour to get out of Mile Oak _ police survey or some such by the bypass.

M23 clear...on to M25 west STOP.

drove on to Reigate hill slip road after an hour waiting in a queue due to accident between Reigate and Leatherhead.....took 30 minutes to get up the hill....got stuck through Reigate comeing back to Crawley....got stuck around gatwick...eventually at 10:15 got into our industrial park off Manor Royal and have missed a very important meeting with our American colleagues at Hounslow.

:(

Those police checks are always a welcome delay at Hangleton arn't they. I enjoyed the 20 minute crawl-past myself this morning to get onto the A27.

I mean don't do it at 10am or anything will you. Just hold up EVERYONE trying to get to their f***ing jobs in the rush hour.

We now have something call telepresence... which is a ful on HD experience, just like being in the same room as people.... with a screen per attendee etc.

So, I was in the US with work last week

I used to do that journey every day for a while and it often took hours and hours; you've obviously been lucky in the past.

Next time tell them you don't have meetings with 'Americans' and stay in bed an extra hour

Trains were stuffed today too apparently.

6.30 from Hove to London Bridge cancelled. Had to wait 40min in the cold for the next one which actually became an hour as the 10 past 7 was delayed by 20 minutes.

Signalling problem in Hove apparently!!

I feel for you. I hate being stuck in traffic. Its got to the point that if I do need the motorway I still clear off it between 8am - 7pm because I can't trust the M25 or M1 anymore.

If its not the Congestion its bloody road works. I just cant see the motorways getting any better either. Too many cars.
