Re: Micky Adams getting all the flack:

“Perhaps it’s about time we put in some good performances for him.”

Hmm, do you THINK so Nicky?

Talk about stating the ruddy obvious.

I like Jason jarrett's comment that if he can give Matty Fryatt a kick he will, Just hope he does'nt get sent off doing it.

I like Nicky Forster. He's a smart fella and a skillful tryer.

“Perhaps it’s about time we put in some good performances for him.” is code for "Get your bloody fingers out you gutless free-loading bastards". Nice!

He comes across as a bright bloke who is realistic about Brightons limitations and is'nt afraid to stand up for his team and his Manager.

Captain marvel.

Always seems to speak a lot of sense and obviously knows the game well and would think that he will eventually make a decent manager.................with us at Falmer!!

Always spoke VERY highly of Dean Wilkins - who of course was the manager who made him captain.

Did he? I always thought he seemed lukewarm about him. Remember the quote about the training .. along the lines of 'it's certainly different'.

Doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement to me.

I spent some time with him for an article I did on him. He said Wilkins was one of the main reasons he came to Brighton, was hugely grateful for being made captain and given extra responsibility and was really enjoying working with him.

I guess the quotes can be used either way by whoever is writing a piece. If someone anti-Wilkins is doing an article, he can change the tone of the player's quotes.

I don't get to many games right now but whenever I do, I have been incredibly impressed with Forster - the way he goes about playing the game and the way he conducts himself. A fantastic professional and we're lucky to have him.

what he said.

When he arrived - and on a three year I feared the worst for years two and three. But we have already had our moneys worth.

I like the way that as well as playing the game, he tells the referee how to do his job too.

He certainly lets both know if they are wrong and made a bad decision that is not in his favour.

Another point I like about him is that will applaud a team mate who makes a good pass even if he doesnt manage to get on the end of it, as pehaps he thinks he should have.
