I really don't think Robinson or Loft are up to playing upfront in this league.

This just shows how terribly short we are in this department that people are even talking about them playing instead of Forster.

I expect it will be Virgo up top. I don't think it SHOULD be but I guess that is what Adams will do and bring in someone else in central midfield.

I would probably give Dixon a go.

Nothing wrong with Robinson in the slightest - That's to all the Robinson knockers on here.

Loft - Virtually unproven at this level, so how anyone can write him off is beyond me.

To finish - If when the teams come out on saturday, and I see OGH line up alongside Murray upfront, I will leave the gound there and then!
MA has tried OGH upfront this season, and it didn't work. I worry sometimes that MA may be living off past glories when it comes to OGH ???

There is an awful lot wrong with Robinson, just some people seem to have him so much slack as he came through our system, when the fact is currently he will be looking for a new club in the summer, as he has not progressed from 2 seasons back.

Loft, well he looks to have some inkling of ability, but seems incapable of producing it for the first team.

Jake has looked bright when he has come on for us this season. Despite what you have said on here many times, he DOES take people on and causes problems for full backs more so than any of our other wide options.

He deserves a start on Saturday and especially if Forster is injured. Otherwise who do you think should partner Murray? Virgs is not the right kind of player to play up top with Murray, and OGH is not good enough to play upfront at this level anymore as we have seen. Or would you prefer we play Dixon? Who hasn't even made it onto the bench this season!

Another one sucked in by the give him time... Well he's had how many years?...

Question for you?... Would you like to be a pro footballer?... How many failed chances would you expect to 'make it'?...

Personally I'm sick and tired of waiting for him to become an average footballer let alone a good one, nope, he's run out of chances with me.

Robinson always struck me as a fairly average division 3 striker. Then again, I hardly ever go these days.

Sorry, carry on.

If you are referring to Robinson, I didn't once use the "give him time" theory. I actually think he is good enough to push Cox inparticular for a place RIGHT NOW!

I did say give Loft time, but that's because he's never really been given an opportunity in the first team.

That really doesn't say a lot for Cox then does it?

No I guess it doesn't in your opinion.

But in my opinion at the moment Cox has no or very little end product. When you couple that with the fact that he has no drive to actually beat his man, you are left with a completely ineffective winger! So I think it's time for Jakey to have his run in the team. After all, on what basis has Cox been in the starting eleven for so long? I ask myself that question EVERY time his name is read out on the tannoy system at EVERY f***ing ground I go to with the Albion, including the Withdean. It's like he has a DIVINE right to be in the starting eleven every week.

When was the last time you saw him make a full bloodied tackle to either win the ball or get it back after losing it?

Loft - Virtually unproven at this level, so how anyone can write him off is beyond me.

Umm! You are doing exactly the same to Dixon!

To finish - If when the teams come out on saturday, and I see OGH line up alongside Murray upfront, I will leave the gound there and then!

You know you won't!:p

Agreed, and Mayo, and Virgo! But at least Virgo has given the team a bit of muscle this season!

------------------------ Kuipers ---------------------

-- Whing ----- Elphick ------ Lynch ----- Richards --

-- Robinson -- Loft ---------- Livermore -- Cox ------

Virgo Murray

1) Why rush Hawkins back when we have Lynch.

2) Do not play OGH!

3) Either El-Abd or Livermore in holding role.

Hawkins wont be available anyway.

Yer i heard he had a class game. But I can't see why Micky declined Lynch's transfer request when he plays Hawkins at literally all costs.

Either be willing to play Lynch or sell him.
