Player manager.

Applied for the Brighton post and didn\t get it.

Looking for a player manager job.

I reckon he would be RUDDY perfect for Orient.

Could be good, but equally from some of his clashes with managers/players, it could be a complete disaster.

Is this just a guess?

Why ? No experience in management at all.

Do any player/manager positions really work out..?

Presumably Forster is still under contract to the Albion until 30th June, so unless there is some small print in his contract about being allowed to apply for manager's jobs, then it's a non-starter.

Why wouldn't we release him?

We might release him, but presumably Charlton would have to agree as well as they've signed hm on loan.

Guess he wouldn't be able to play for Orient this season anyway as will have signed after the deadline.

Edit: In Orient's current situation I don't think they need a young player manager in his first job. They need someone, possibly a temporary appointment, with a bit of experience who will keep them up. That's not to say Forster might not have the job next season, especially if they've been relegated.

Would he be allowed to play for orient because he's already played for two clubs (unless the loan to charlton is classed as an emergency one?)

Also, as others have said, he is under contract to us, on loan to charlton. I imagine orient will want the position filled before such time as forster is available.

Can't see it, no experience coaching or as assistant and they need someone to come in and keep them up.
