Nice(ish) Palace Fan Shocker!

I was at the US embassy today getting a visa sorted for my new job. When I was called up to the booth to have all my paperwork checked, the bloke behind the screen had a Palace mug in front of him!
I had to let him have it & we had a bit of banter; which ended with him saying, "I hope you stay up!"

I s'pose I should of said cheers or something like that, but it just came blurting out....."Yeah & I hope you come down so we can play you muppetts again!"

He seemed almost friendly & half normal!

I think if you look closely at the Visa paperwork it'll be humorously stamped "potential terrorist threat".

Not wanting to show I'm an old git, but I was there for Mardi Gras in '83. It must have been good cos I can remember 2 things.
1. Lip-locking gorgeous women in exchange for some carnival beads.
2. Being encouraged to shout "show your tits" at gorgeous women on balconies in Bourbon St....& they show them!!!
