That's a fantastic read and makes me want to live through that season again. If only we could have some more of that freedlowing attacking football this season.

I really liked that article, and calling us "probably League One's greatest ever team"...... wow!
But then that Carlisle game was a bit special

With all the idiots we get from other teams on here "we're brilliant - you are rubbish" it is good to remember there are people who can appreciate what is going on at other clubs.

I think it's quite possible we will. At the start of that season we signed Casper, Calde and Paints which shored up the defence and allowed a lot more attacking impetus.

This season we have signed Kusz, Bridge and Bruno.

Nice article.

This is bull though: 'they eventually won by only three points after a late stutter to promotion'.

After the Walsall game that clinched the championship everyone knows we took our foot off the gas. Well we do anyway.

What memories of that Carlisle game. Just home from hospital the day before after another operation with instructions to rest, not get excited and generally take it easy. Listening on the radio through the roller coaster of fortunes that made that game - ultimately to hear that extraordinary commentary on that extraordinary goal from Liam. No chance of a quiet restful afternoon to recover, I nearly burst my stitches!
