I know that this season hasn't finished yet and all of us are disappointed about being relegated, but who else is looking forward to next season.

Look on the bright side, we have a fairly young team on the whole, most have performed well if not above expectations at Championship level, there are plenty more where they came from in the youth team. On the playing side the future has rarely looked brighter and we should certainly be winning more games than we did this season which must only add a bit of a feel good factor, certainly missing since Christmas.

I am looking forward to renewing genuine friendships with the likes of Donny Rovers, also rivalries with Forest (assuming they don't go up), Cheaterfield and Leyton Borient. There are also a few other games to look forward to for vastly differing reasons, namely Bournemouth, Blackpool, Swansea and Bristol City. We can also look forward to dark blue stripes again.

The future is bright, the future is Brighton.

   Well put Gully, I for one am looking forward to next year. Okay so it would be nice to still be in the Champ but won't it be nice to se us pick up more results next year (hopefully!) and the fact that we have the youth coming through gives the season extra interest.

I think this season was the worst in my 43 years of watching the Albion. I am looking forward to a good one next year though.

I'm looking forward to seeing more youth team players breaking through, the youth set up has to be the way forward. Sadly the best will inevitably get sold on to bigger cllubs, that's the nature of the situation we're in. Hopefully we'll win a bit more often and be challenging for play offs and the possibillity of a trip to Wembley. Plenty to look forward to. Hopefully my 7 year old son wil become a Withdean regular as well, now that will fill me with pride!

I'm looking forward to seeing the Albion on a terrace - does anyone know which Terraces are confirmed to be in League 1 next year?

I'm putting a fiver on us to get relegated again...as I think we'll struggle next year and I need the cash

I think the strangest season for me was the second of the back to back Championships, it was totally surreal as after several years of complete and utter struggle I hadn't expected it. I mean, this season we allways knew it would be touch and go whether we stayed up, so going down isn't exactly a shock to the system.

Know exactly what you mean there, and the celebarations at the council offices seemed very much a damp squib compared to the year before, don't think anyone really could believe it was happening

I might just do the same. Relegation is a far better bet than promotion if we don't have a proper target man up front on the first game of the season. Still looking forward to it tho, live football innit

I can't see us going down, I think we'll do ok. I think we'll see a lot of youth team players breaking through, it'll be great to see some more local talent in the side.

After 2 seasons of struggling against far better of teams, including several still getting parachute payments from the Preier league, it'll make a nice change to be competing on a more or less level playing field so far as income is concerned.

I wouldn't want to get carried away with the idea we'll go straight back up, but at least we should be capable of being in contention for the play offs. I'mm looking forward to it, roll on August!
