It will be quite nice to visit new grounds, although it will be a struggle, with some good teams in the division. Has anyone been to Burton before?

f*** sake.

I fail to understand why people are being positive about us going down.

We could go out of the LEAGUE if we keep this up, and travelling 300 miles to some slum in the middle of nowhere is NOT a good thing in any way.

Thankfully I have a relegation release clause to my Brighton fan contract so I will be a free agent if we drop out of L1...I think I'll start supporting Liverpool because I like Dirk Kuyts Hairstyle and Pepe Reinas smile

People are trying to make the best of it WW. The bottom line is we are probably going down, but with a fair wind and with RS at the helm we have to be positive and roar the boys on for the rest of the season and prepare to help push them to the summit of league two next season.

Your insistance that we could go out of the league ( as you have posted on numerous other threads) does not and will not help the club or the team.

This is what you get if you type Burton into google image search. Better than I was expecting.

I think people are trying to put something positive. Lets face it, this club has faced may relegations and also many promotions. Infact surely thats better than being a boring mid table side staying in the same league year in year out.

Chances are we will be playing L2 football next year. Whether its freefall depends on the board. That means getting Slade a longer contract, providing funds (and it will be a lot)for many new players (of quality that will get us out of that league). If the board get that right, then we can progress and as before win promotion.

So, yes total w*nk this season, but there is still another season.

And if they manage to get back to back promotions then we could be looking at the surreal possibility of a Charlton - Histon League One match.

Although i would obviously prefer to be going to places like Charlton, southampton or barnsley next season, i have seen some pretty good away days for us in league 2.

For example port vale, shrewsbury, bradford(if they stay down)

I was working this out, and by the end of next season there is a strong possibility that i could have done 71 out of the 72 league grounds (meaning outside the prem) next season. Provided I could get to:

Rochdale
Morcambe
Accrington
Shrewsbury (been to old)
Dagenham
Darlington and
Burton
