BHA (2nd) make the long, long trip to the North East to visit Newcastle (7th). A win for the Geordies & they will overtake the Seagulls. Albion have not yet lost this season (though have yet to win away in the league), whilst Newcastle are now finding their feet in the second tier, with their third win on the trot (after tonight's cup game).
We may have only met 18 times, but Albion ride high with 8 wins, 3 draws & 7 defeats. Indeed in our past 6 meetings we have 4 times & drawn twice. In the FA Cup in 2012 & 2013, BHA knocked out Premiership Newcastle twice. One has to go back to 1990 for Newcastle's last win 2-0 in a League 2 match watched by 18,746 at St James Park. There will probably be three times as many people watching the match live this time around!
