Reckon they're in the mire now. Stoke keep picking up home points, Pompey have levelled out their form and The Geordies are slumping to defeat vs The Arse.

Maybe we could meet up with them in L1 the season after next? :clap2:

My mate supports Newcastle and has been ripping me all season about us going down. I would LOVE it if they were to go down. Especially if we manage to stay up (unlikely I know)

Middleborough are five points adrift. Are they doomed ?

cf. Albion are six points adrift, B & H Albion that is.

fairly likely

west brom, boro and one of newcastle, blackburn and hull i reckon

one bonus is that it'll be piss easy to get tickets next year :)

in reality, i think it'd do the club good. The whole set up needs ripping up and starting afresh, they need to stop paying vast sums of money to players who are over the hill/injury prone (duff, viduka, butt, colochini, cacapa, joey barton, geremi etc) and base the team around good, honest young lads. There is such a vast catchment area for Newcastle where there must be plenty of young talent for them to tap into.....imagine how many decent players they could get for the wages that they are paying, for example, mark viduka
