What novelty should we get for free with our pie? Ouzo on Thursday, spliff for Ajax and a punch on the nose for Marseille? Will we be extending our home from home policy and sell them Mythos whilst they wait?

The Lectern (Pelham Terrace/ Lewes Road) has long gone. They moved to The Lectern a couple of years ago. Just so you know the pub to avoid!
That’s the one! Thanks. Knew it was named after an interior part of a church. The Lectern (Pelham Terrace/ Lewes Road) has long gone.
I heard they moved to a pub in the Lanes. Font?
Disgusting. I’m 58, don’t call me an old man !classic brave Italians, stabbing an old man in the back on the floor
Buses for AEK fans directly from the King and Queens since it’s been shared on Twitter.Care to share? Does it involve anything more elaborate than pointing involuntary pedestrians in the right direction towards town?
In most places Naples is very tricky.... at night especially.....In places Naples ain’t so good either.
And In Amsterdam . That’s how it is when mob handed in their town .A quick look on Twitter videos of it kicking off in Milan last night both sets of fans having a go. It won’t be peaceful in Marseille the Ultras will have a go at some point.
I went to Inter Vs Napoli about 4 years ago... that train from the city is very intimidating, and the stadium residents in the Inter middle tier behind the goal, was simply awash with illegal vodka salesmen, drug dealers and fascist thugs.... we left 20 mins from the end.... we got frisked by paramilitary coppers on the way OUT... very relieved to get back to the relative safety of the city centre.I went to a match at the San Siro a while back. Got on the train to the game and found myself in a carriage full of ultras. Bloody hell, some of the scariest people ever. Tattooed faces, chains, leather, big rings, but not the smiley types you might get in some Brighton establishments! Really nasty looking people. I stared at my phone to avoid eye contact and got off at the first stop to wait for the next train. Genuinely unsettling.
Are you sure you did'nt walk in to that bar on police academy.I went to a match at the San Siro a while back. Got on the train to the game and found myself in a carriage full of ultras. No way to stabbing. Genuinely have no words for that, but I would throe chairs made of plastic……Newcastle fan stabbed in Italy ahead of AC Milan Champions League match
Eddie McKay, 58, suffered stab wounds to his back and arms and was taken to hospital, according to local police.news.sky.com
I can see incidents like this putting a lot of people off travelling abroad to see their teams play.
It's a sad state when we have already been given instructions by our own club on how to get to the ground safely, areas not to go into etc. for the Marseille game.
I just listened to the new podcast 'BHA podcast' where Norman Cook aka fat boy slim was talking about hosting a club night for both sets of fans for after the game against Ajax.
I know this is an Italian team as opposed too Dutch, but it just shows how opposite our views on away fans are, etc. We appear to be a very welcoming club (fans) I know there will always be a small demographic of "fans" that go out of their way to cause trouble, but I'd like to think that one of ours wouldn't randomly stab an opposition fan.
Whilst the club have done the right thing, I do think its a bit ott and will scare off sone fans, which is probs reflected in current ticket sakes. Sad, but likely a factor. Genuinely you can have the best times abroad at football and any sports, just have to be sensible and street wise. Newcastle fans showing colours and flags is absolutely not a problem, I think it is brilliant they are not being subtle and enjoying themselves, how it should be. I would hate to think that our fans are going to go to Europe and not have some fun. I’m getting a flag made up as we speak. If you want trouble, you’ll find it, simple as that. We don’t want that, we just want beer and laughter!I do think everyone has to be on their guard, but I will say Newcastle fans have not exactly been subtle, shall we say, flags from bridges, colours everywhere. AEK I don’t think will be bad with us, Marseille is always gone be ropey. I think it does sort show that the advice the club gave us is very important.
Having shared a drink with some Milan Ultras a few years ago in Milan, they’re definitely not to be messed with. Showing me their knives etc.
Throw***No way to stabbing. Genuinely have no words for that, but I would throe chairs made of plastic……
I can’t see any way of preventing AEK fans from catching the train to Falmer. It looks like a reasonable plan to me. Let AEK fans spend the day in the greatest city in Britain, and then wander down to a bus pick up point in the centre of town. Have a beer at the K&Q if the queues are a bit long, and get bussed to stadium.
Hang around a bit and have a beer after the game, get bussed back into centre of town
Hope the Marseille away plan goes as well for the friends I have who are going (obviously with the exception of those who certainly won't be doing any of the nonsense our club is suggesting for Marseille)
They’ll sneak on with ease, inside a trojan horseI can’t see any way of preventing AEK fans from catching the train to Falmer.
