After an initial "I'm not going to a 13.45 game on a Sunday" mode, I am now naturally making plans for the Newcastle cup game with overnight stay chucked in.

If anyone is looking to tick off any of the 92 there are plenty of Saturday 15.00 games you could take in.

Middlesbrough are at home
Hartlepool are at home
Chesterfield in their new stadium are at home
And of course
Harrogate are at home.

I'm going to take in the delights of Harrogate and am planning on donning the Stone Island to sit in amongst the Waitrose wine Mum firm with a view to running over any Accrington fans I see in a brand new Range Rover Discovery.

Anyone else taking in a game en route?

I went to Harrogate a couple of years ago on my 92 quest. We took in the hospitality which was great fun , we won the raffle and we also met Gary Pallister who was a guest that day. I’d recommend this option if you want to enhance the day.

Thankyou, I'll look into that albeit I much prefer a TOMBOLA over a raffle. I'm a sucker for winning the world's shittest bottle of Rose.

I did Harrogate just before Christmas. I love the town anyway so was good to tick off a new ground. Be prepared for a lot of long throw ins and some very odd songs from the home support behind the goal which is where I went. Nice shallow terrace, but covered.

I've got a double of Dunston UTS v Emley at 3pm, and then a short cab ride to Gateshead v AFC Fylde, looking forward to them both, new ground 294 and 295 (I think).

Have Gateshead sorted their ground out do you know? I seem to remember that they got barred from the play offs last year because it wasn't at league standard.

For anyone leaving early enough on the Saturday, this one might be another option en route:
