I feel it's better to not give it attention. If coming out as a professional sportsperson leads to headlines and new articles, it'll probably be harder for the next person. Once it's a non-entity it'll be a lot easier for those who wish to share it publicly to do so.

Good for this bloke though, in the current climate it's still not an easy thing to do.
