Can't stand it. Today is December 31st, tomorrow is January 1st. Whoop-de-bloody-do

Unfortunately Mrs P loves it, so I will be forced to be out later pretending to enjoy myself.

Here we go, amateurs night out etc etc. I love Xmas and I love NYE. The only bit I don't like it getting back to running on the 2nd as all my running kit seems to have shrunk slightly.

Couldn't give a toss about it. I'm resting up all ready for the proper stuff on Monday.

Hugely over rated night out when you pay to go into your normal pub!

Much rather see the new year in with a few friends and spend the money on some great ingredients and have a superb meal in the comfort and safety of my own home.

Another stay-at-home bah-humbug sort here, can't stand the enforced, overpriced, overhyped jollity and everyone (at may age anyway) pretending to be enjoying themselves when they'd mostly rather be sat on the sofa with a nice bottle of something (which is what I'll be doing).

What a load of killjoys! It's a great night, one to look forward to every year. House parties are definitely the way to go though, way too expensive in town.

Could not give a toss, never liked NYE.
But going round a friends house, a few ales,a nice meal, let off a few fireworks and home by 12.30.
Can't drink too much as its Mrs Choppers birthday tomorrow, a surprisingly nice day to have a birthday as well.

Meh night for me. I love xmas eve, xmas day and boxing day but am pretty ambivalent about NY, I will be going out to a few bars tonight but not overly bothered about it.
