5-a-side Football - it's a date

Following much discussions and negotiations, the original 5-a-side football session, originally on Tuesday nights has been reborn.

It will now take place on Friday’s at 8:30, for 1 hour, at Worthing Sports Centre, in Durrington actually.

I have booked the astroturf for the next 4 weeks (starting this Friday 5th Sept). It's £21.50 an hour, so to make it work we need people to turn up.

I know lots of people don't live in Worthing, but then again very few lived in Portslade, but people still turned up.

Therefore I urge you all to make the effort to turn up, it's more than just another 5-a-side, it's an Albion supporters 5-a-side, where all the issues of the day as discussed.

So, if you fancy a spot of light hearted 5,6 or 7 a side football turn up on Friday and give it a go. We’re not all brilliant players, and we don’t (all) take it too seriously, but it relies upon people turning up to make it feasible. If it works we can review the arrangement after the initial month, perhaps moving the venue to a different area to attract more people…

It will be a couple of quid (ish).. I might make it 3 for a few weeks to buld up a bit of a float to get us through the bad times.
