I always used to love the Birmingham City kit and badge when I was a kid. Much more than Villa.

Fact - Birmingham City was the first shirt I ever bought for myself as it was £10 on sale at sports direct in Brighton (the phones 4u one 2003 or 2004ish). Wore it at varndean college to be different. Literally no association with them at all other than I liked Matthew Upson from LMA Manager and other such PlayStation games back in the day

Also fact - I hope they get relegated because they're a joke club

Just like the error the day before we played them in December 2016 - firing Rowett and appointing Zola

That was unbelievable. I was at that game, the Glenn Murray late winner one.

I know a few Blues fans and they were as outraged at that sacking as they were about the Eustace/Rooney one. If having owners making bad decisions meant you hate a club, Albion would be top of the list way before Dick Knight came along. Luckily it’s not too difficult to see past that with half a brain.

I’d rather see Birmingham doing well than Villa. For that reason, I hope it works out for them.
