Nobody buys the shirt because it has a "good" sponsor! If it's a crap shirt, you won't bother, regardless of who's paid to put their name on it. If it's a half decent shirt, we'll all buy it. End of.

But the Skint sponsor helped make the shirts half decent, it looked good and just had that coolness factor. It helped make some otherwise fairly average shirts better, it's hard to see ITS construction or whoever doing that.

It's not just the shirt sales that might suffer from a shit logo though. There seems to be a fair range of clothes items like little strappy tops, hats and stuff that would have carried a lot more street cred with skint than ITS and would have appealed to people who didn't necessarily follow the football club.

football shirts generally look a bit naff unless being worn to football. Yes skint helped a bit but I think anyone who has an ounce of coolness would not be wearing a football shirt socially whatever the sponsor
