We're really excited to share our new short film which shares the stories of three young footballers - Brady, Rudi, and Imarni.
Brady was very shy and kept himself locked away in his room, barely speaking to anyone else and struggling to make friends. This was only made worse by the impact of caring for his terminally ill dad.
Rudi is deaf, and at his old football sessions he found it very hard to fit in. His coach didn't speak directly at him, and Rudi, who relies on lip-reading, had essentially no idea what was going on.
Imarni had extremely limited opportunities to play football as a girl in her community, often having to play alongside older and stronger boys. She was also shy, and found it hard to join in.
All three of them have rediscovered their love of football by playing at Albion in the Community. They each have remarkable stories, and its well worth watching this short film to find out more:
