New season. New manager ?

It is looking bad,and many of us feel we are going down. From what i understand Slade is here until season's end ? We know D/K is going nowhere and maybe with a lower wage bill we could unload a few players. However how WOULD YOU plan the 09-10 season and place in charge ?

Not sure us getting relegated will make us a more attractive proposition than when he turned us down a few weeks ago

Yeh but that was mid season, i can see him being dragged away easier now, expecially with stockports finacial troubles deepening

Think he may have better offers this summer or for next season though.

Be nice if we could get him, you never know I guess but you'd think someone higher might come in.

The problem with replacing Slade would be the utter chaos on player's contracts (and loanees). The only logical thing would be to conduct a fans poll to decide who stays and goes, otherwise we'd end up with Mayo and Hart for another year.

We need to get promoted asap and to be at least in div1 when Falmer opens.
I personally would like someone like Peter Taylor back in charge,he worked wonders at Hull and is doing well at Wycombe and knows the lower leagues very well imo.
