early doors but prediction time on how players will benefit or hinder the albions progress!!

who will cut the mustard/who will flop!!

CKR - Success - give him a bit more time and a potential legend in the making

Paul Mcshane - success - need I say more, class

Jason Dodd - success - we'll get one solid season out of him at least

El Turi - failure - better than trolley, but not a lot

Carole - Success - looks exciting

Henderson - failure - will be going back soon

New French goalie - failure - has let in a lot wherever he's played, not convinced he'll be any good

Bloomin' Nora - can someone fill me in please. I go on holiday for two weeks and all that lot come in. Of those above I only knew about CKR & Dodd.

We've got 2 french players one GK and one winger, Carrole and i can't say the other name, we'v got Mcshane from Manchester Utd on a 5 month loan deal, we have Wayne Henderson on loan from Aston Villa.

Far to early to predict their future worth, but so far so good for most.

CKR - Has been having to do alot of work on his own, but hasn't let the team down with his efforts. Confident he'll turn into an even better player in time

Paul McShane - Absolute class, has been the best player i've seen this season, of all teams.

Jason Dodd - Looked a little shaky against Reading, but improved yesterday. His experience should bring plenty to the team this season

El Turi - Not had a real chance in the team to show what he can do. Hopefully his fitness will improve and he can produce for us. Jury still out.

Carole - Impossible to judge on the back of one game. But he looked more than upto the challenge. Certainly hoping for good things in the future.

Henderson - Have no confidence in him at all. The sooner Kuipers is back the better.

New French goalie - Not even played a game for us yet, so can't write him off or big him up.

Seems a bit early to judge, but Dodd & McShane are def useful additions. CKR has potential, so time will tell.

I am going to reserve judgement on Dodd. On a number of occasions he has over-committed himself by flying into a challenges and getting beaten in dangerous situations; including early on yesterday when it resulted in a goal scoring opportunity for Crewe.

They all look promising to me, with the possible exception of the goalie. Just wait until they settle down and are all match fit.

BORING!!!!!!!!! Ernest your boring us.

He may be but all the time that there are people who laugh at him he'll continue to carry on. I'm sure that his comment about 'Tried and tested English lads' is racist but frankly I can't be bothered to take issue. You'll be interested to hear that he wasn't at the game yesterday though.

Ernest ...

What, pray, is the difference between "tried and tested" and "hasbeens"?

They're what MM calls 'other people's mistakes' I believe.

Disagree, where have you seen him play? and do you know anything about him?

I haven't seen him play, I'm just making a reasoned guess on how his career has gone so far.

Generally, I know, it's too easy to make serious judgements, but I'm just inviting people to have a bit of a guess

What a load of absolute rubbish. El Turi has hardly played and is still coming back to full match fitness after an injury and disrupted pre season.

None of us have seen the goalie play but he's represent France upto U-21 level he really cant be that bad.

Bit too early yet Dwayne. El Turi isn't match fit we're told. All I hope is that this 'lack of fitness' isn't a long term matter as it seems with McCammon.
