Heard Ring had left, where's he gone?

This is the quote from the Argus 'Albion Diary' last Friday:

Albion are advertising for a head physiotherapist to replace Nathan Ring.

Coventry-born Ring has been with Albion since January 2011, when he joined from Shrewsbury in place of the retiring Jim Joyce.

Diary understands his next destination is likely to be Dubai.

Or maybe he will end up as part of Gus Poyet's backroom team at Sunderland.

They'll get plenty of applications.

Must be loads of physios working in a professional sporting environment who'd jump at it.

Mate of mine is eligible but won't apply. He was Hants CCC physio for 3 years and at the beginning of the summer took the role of England Mens physio. Dads lives just round the corner ....

Couldn't see an existing thread on Brett's departure but it seems we'll be needing a new physio.

He left a while back - was mentioned on here as the club doctor and another person from that department left recently as well

Maybe indicative of a bit of an overhaul in that area...

Charlton Athletic are delighted to confirm the appointment of Dr Will Abbott as Director of Performance Services.
Abbott will take up the role after completing his notice period as Performance Manager at Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, a club he has been at for more than a decade.
In the role, Abbott will oversee the performance services provision across the club, which includes the medical, nutrition, sports science and psychology departments, ensuring players across all the teams are in peak physical condition and the methodology is aligned and integrated across the football club.
