I learned about this today, it's a new service for your mobile that sounds quite fun.

Have a look here: Shazam!

If you hear a song you like on the radio or in a shop or anywhere you call them up on 2580, let them listen to the music and 30 seconds later they'll text you back with the name of the song and who's singing it. This service costs 59p, not too bad.

Yeah, I know about this, the company I work for is a major investor in Shazam and one of the directors was in the office the other day demonstrating it. We all thought it was great fun, but the consensus was that it was not something that was really essential.

Would you pay good money for it? I certainly wouldn't.

I've found it's pretty useful. Good when you're out, or when songs are played in TV programmes and they don't say what they are. Found quite a few good songs from it.

Quality service - i've been using it for over a year now - they have like every song ever in there - great when you're clubbing!

Hmm...when ever I've been clubbing and had a song I liked, I used to go and ask the DJ what it was. Still, why go for something simple like that when you could pay for something that's less reliable?

But anyone there could have told you that was Spandau Ballet.
