In a pile of football shirts
Tbf to @BBassic, it was my immediate thought too😊
Anyway when we and Bournemouth were promotion rivals back in ‘72ish I thought they wore red and black stripes then but accept that could be my memory!
Memory is fine, they wore black and red stripes between 1970-1974 before reverting to red shirts Till 1990 when the red and black stripes returned.

Except we first had this kit (as far as I can gather ) in 1974, when Bmuff were playing in red shirts.
In 74/75 they wore a red shirt with a single offset black and white stripe.

Worthing
This is nice. Cowden looking like Atletico Madrid, shame we won't be playing like them.

Love that and a Blue & White version would i’m sure be very welcome in this parish, do the stripes continue on the back?
At the bottom. There's unfortunately a big black square for the squad number and name.

With regard to how long we've used red and black stripes in our away kit, the reason that it's so popular among Fulham fans is because we used it in the only season we got to.the 1975 FA Cup final, when we played most of the games away - and there a lot of replays - about 5; and in our Great Escape season in 0708 when we beat Citeh away and Danny Murphy secured survival with a header 11 minutes from time.

Apparently, we started using it because we were playing QPR away and the ref wouldn't allow us to wear white shirts (even though we normally did) and we had to borrow their 2nd kit. So nothing to do with Bmuff.

Moved house and was unboxing all my old Albion shirts and have worn the 2011 promotion season Errea one all day. Man alive it's so much more comfortable to wear than any of our Nike shirts have been.

Was looking at the Aletico Madrid shirt last night, and noticed it had more elements than ours, but the same basic template.

SHOCKING badge, mind.

That's the player-spec, £125 version. They are lovely but we're never ever getting them because we're not in Nike's elite list of teams. So poor Lewis and the gang get worse on-pitch gear (compared to Chelsea etc) because of some silly contract based on how "big" our club is and how many units we shift.
