I like Brez, and he took over from Ankergren at the right time and did a job for us. But, he is not Championship quality, he was at fault for so much today and also in the game against Millwall. OK, so he saved a soft penalty but we really need to bring in a new keeper IMO.

Brezovan & Navarro , truly awful players!
Not just today, Navarro ain't good enough by a long way. At least he shouldn't play again with the city loanees

Need a keeper who can catch a cross and when he does need to punch can clear the his area. Brez has had a few good games but looked suspect against Leeds and Milwall and has shown he can't handle big games (Stoke, Spurs & Liverpool). Not good enough for the Championship and never will be.

His ineptness was highlighted massively last season in the cup away at stoke!
It was only a question of time before we saw the true lack of quality from brez

How would i know?I'm pissed.
We need to be signing someone like Cudichini, not getting much 1st team football and i'm sure would be available if the money is right.

I just looked up Christian Lucchetti who is my keeper for Brighton in FM12. OMG flair! He takes Banfield's penalties! Should fit right in.

Thought Brez started to look the part, but for a big man he should be owning his six yard box sadly his punching and lack of command are now sadly lacking .Tony Godden must take some resposability and address his and caspers shortfalls

Today is a real shmae for Brezovan, after excellent form in January, he was lucky not to have a fumble punished against Leeds, was jointly responsible for Milwall's first on Tuesday and other than the penalty save (when we were dead an burried), had a shocker today. This now constitues a bad run of form. I notice that he has started to punch (al la Ankergran), this seems to cause a real lack of confidence in the box.

Gus alluded to the goalkeeping display in the post match interview, the GK spot could easily be one of 5 changes for Wednesday (he may hope Ankergran's time ont he bench produces a good run of form, or even look for another loan). I would imagine a GK will be a high priority come July 1st...

Agree with first part AND he must accept part responsibility for second, punching when should have caught as all the pundits said.

AND Greer saved him from ridicule charging out of box and missing in second half.

Horrid feeling keepers will be our downfall in charge for playoffs.

Brezovan is shit. He's a f***ing calamity. He has been ever since the day he signed and he always will be. He looks like a twat and, unsurprisingly, he plays like a twat. He's just a twat. The morons of NSC come out and support him when he strings three average games together, but anyone with a brain has always been able to see he's a car crash of a keeper.

BUT

Look at the goals today. None of them were actually his fault. If you had to award blame to one of our players for each goal, I don't think any of them would go to him.

1st - Barnes
2nd - Vokes
3rd - Calderon
4th - Navarro
5th - Dunk
6th - the only one that we didn't f*** up for

I disagree with both points, the superior handling he showed in January (in comparison to Ankergran at the very least) generated a greater degree of certainty when dealing with crosses, something that had become a real issue for us and we started to defend alot better generally (this could be a coincidence, but i supsect not).

Today Brezovan's poor handling and decision making partly led to the subsequent errors; the first was not his fault, the second he should have caught the ball (on reflection the pivotal moment int he game), the fouth was the poor communication, he handled badly for the Dunk's o.g, lucky not to be sent of before the penalty and had to bailed out by Greer for some terrible decision making on the edge of his area we when kicked fresh air rather than chesting the ball or waiting for it to come to it on the edge of the area...) A real shame but given the last 3 games (I am not sure you can drop a keeper after 1 shocker) his place in the team is now in question for Wednesday .

Its got to be Gonzalez hasn't it? we know Ankergen and Brezovan aren't the complete package - Brezovan just looked totally scared today and thats never going to inspire confidence whereas Ankergen just can't come off his line.
