Someone's mentioned it (assuming you mean Brezovan), is it official now?

Don't know the name yet. Just that Poyet has got a new foreign keeper in training and who could well be in the squad tomorrow evening.

Peter Brezovan (born December 9, 1979 in Czechoslovakia) is a former Slovak under-21 international footballer who is currently on trial with Brighton and Hove Albion after being released by Swindon Town this summer.

In September 2007 Brezovan spent two days on trial with Everton F.C., and he is now currently being trialled by Bristol City but unfortunately for him his chances were done a great deal of harm by allowing a speculative, long-range shot in through his arms during their 4-0 defeat by Ajax in a pre-season friendly on 15th July 2009. However, in spite of the two goals he conceded in the second-half that he played, he generally had a rather sturdy performance and made a few impressive saves.

From Wikipedia!!

Anyone, myself included, would be better than Smith though.

In the shadow of Seaford Head
or Slovakian?

Hopefully Andy Naylor will spot this thread and clarify matters.

He Has

"Albion have handed towering former Swindon goalkeeper Peter Brezovan a week-long trial.

The 6ft 6ins Slovakian has been with Dagenham and Redbridge on the same basis.

Brezovan played for Swindon when Albion boss Gus Poyet was assistant manager to Dennis Wise."
