New keeper could be in squad tomorrow

I can never understand that when we were going through the Stockport squad last year akin to the Germans going through France in WW2 we didn't sign Fon Williams as well.

As far as I'm concerned, he's one of the best keepers in this league. I couldn't believe we didn't try and sign him in the summer. Obviously, Slade chose Smith but I would hope he atleast sounded out the possibility of Fon Williams.
