Good in parts - especially the posh scaffolders and Nelson Mandela.

Stick with it - I am sure in time the new characters will all grow on us.

Loved "I saw you coming"!

mixed bag but the only funny sketch was the 2 posh workmen, not in the same league as the shows 10/15 years ago

After the success of Little Britain this is proof that catchphrase comedy is the BBC`s safe bet.
I think Chan 4 take a few more chances with their comedy and though its often hit and miss at least its not so staid as the Beebs tired old efforts.

Hit and miss.

I like Jose Mourinho, American tourists, Nelson Mandela, posh builders, Laurel and Hardy but the South African was shit, Polish cofee shops girls shit, fat schoolgirls shit.

I'd expect better, but I'll watch it again for one or two more weeks.

It was never likely to get the same reception as the original Harry Enfield show or the Fast Show, we've moved on and so has comedy (a little). However, I thought this could have been a lot worse. I didn't catch the whole show in full, just bits of it between flipping burgers on the barbecue but I thought some of the sketches were well thought out and pretty funny.

I disagree on the posh workmen bit though, that gag has been done before more than a few times. Scraping the barrel a bit for that one I thought. But therein just makes me wonder how much pressure the Beeb put on Enfield and Whitehouse to get this new show out or whether it was in fact the two chaps themselves who decided it was time for another go but maybe didn't quite have enough ideas?

It was always going to get slagged off on here though.

Could have been better, might get better, but certainly not terrible.

On a separate note however the first episode of the new Peep Show series was superb. I really hope they can maintain the standard as long as possible as there is nothing else even touching this show at the moment.
