How do you manage to get your camera in? I thought its not allowed to take a camera other than a phone into the stadium!

Didn't know it was against the rules.
I've never been stopped.
I hung it around my neck and covered it with my coat to keep the rain off. The lens was in my pocket.
At halftime I just walked down to the toilets past about 4 stewards with it casually hanging from my neck and nobody said anything.

Besides anything I can take from where I'm sat will be no competition to their Pro Photographers on the touchline.

Nah, its fine. I emailed the club about taking my DSLR in for the Arsenal game, and they said something along the lines of 'as long as the photos aren't used commercially'...
