New England song - Utter Gash

I heard the new England World Cup song this morning by Embrace and what utter gash it is.

It is like a poor mans Coldplay song. It is a dirge and very depressing with no references to football, shooting, tackling or anything.

It is easily the worst football song I have ever heard in my life. I think the 3 lions song will be adopted as the World Cup 2006 song again. Ant & Dec's effort would win the Ivor Novello award for song writing compared to this steaming pile of poop.

It is a dirge about some bloke whose bird has kicked him into touch. Its hardly something your going to wack on your CD player when Owen scores the winning goal is it

Sounded pretty good to me and it will be grower but it was never going to be a song with Ing-Er-Land chanting allt he way through it...................isn't there enough of those songs released over the years to keep all the 'must have chanting in the song' brigade happy.

The whole Embrace album was written about this woman Danny meet who he thought "was the one" but she didn't feel the same way.

This song was ment for the album but wasn't finished and they have just changed a few of the lyrics to fit it to England a bit.

I like it but it's not really a football song.
