FFS. Hopefully everyone will start boycotting these auctions and comps to get tickets. I am sick to death of seeing our tickets disrubuted in this way. f*** Off and do it to man utd or someone. Just want to buy tickets in the normal way and for them to go to fans not some randoms.

Is this is just advertising on NSC, surely against the rules, if it isn't they need to be changed to cover this kind of stuff. If they iisure365 want an ad, they should pay for it like everyone else. A good idea chaps but not in the spirit of NSC..

Those raising the point about 'free advertising' are quite correct, but as we have nothing formal in place just yet, I'm happy to let this go. In the near future however, those who seek to post stuff that is clearly an attempt at free advertising will find they don't stick around for very long. There will be official channels in place to advertise via NSC for a reasonable fee should anyone wish to support the site. And, to be fair to iInsure365 they have expressed an interest in doing just that. Other local organisations have also indicated they would be willing to offer 1901 tickets to NSCers in competitions as well.

The subject of scarce tickets being used in this way is not one I really want to pass comment on. I would hope the club monitor such things and either approve or take action where required, given tickets are technically 'not transferable' (although this does take place via the NSC ticket exchange every day).

Bozza, this kind of competition is plain wrong when those tickets could have been purchased by 3 genuine fans who now won't be able to go. This is not about someone who bought tickets intending to go, and now can't, so is offering them, at face value, on NSC. This is about trying to get people on their marketing database. Frankly, I don't care if they got the tickets through Kerry Mayo. If he was offered them and doesn't want to go, he should have declined them. We have a priority points system in operation to ensure the genuine and loyal fans get tickets for high profile matches. Personally, and this is only my opinion, I think there should be no place on NSC for this kind of thing.

Thanks Bozza, I will run any future competitions past you before posting.

In reply to the sourcing of the tickets, they are from three match-going seagulls who can no longer attend. They have nothing to do with Kerry Mayo.

Anyway...the winner is...Ian Burnham. A member of the team will be in touch shortly to arrange collection.
