Hav'nt bought much lately but have got the entire Sublime discography - a FANTASTIC reggae/ska/punk style band who unfortunatley lost their main member Bradley in the mid 90's. There truly is no other band on earth like them and their music is a joy to listen too, especially whilst cruising down the beach and just chilling out in the sun!

New Fun Lovin' Criminals album is floating about on the net.
I have heard it, and it's as cool as ever.
Don't know the release date but I will be buying the original as those guys deserve the money.

bit of a criminals fan myself but their albums have got steadily worse. come find yourself was amazing, then 100% columbian was good in parts but loco or the one after was fairly wank. have they returned to winning ways??

Wozza, Ive heard James Zabiela play out a few times and have to say, although techniaclly excellent he hasnt lived up to the hype for me and Ive found it all a bit dull. I was hoping for more breaks than he played but found it all to progressive, which is a sound Ive really gone off of.

Hear what you're saying.

His Radio 1 Essential Mix is ACE though - fair amount of breaks in that.

Also, if you've got Soulseek or similar, check out FOUR, a four-disc mix he did for fun. Disc 1 is very dubby, 2 and 3 proggy, 4 the best and most fun.

Oh, and you'll probably catch him at Space next week, non?

not a new albim ut only bought it last week: The Prodigy Experience. now ive heard all the tracks a hundred times, but never got round to buying the CD. Its absoultly wicked, never noticed the production quality and depth to the tracks (well you dont when your shit faced in a tent at 2am) . Especially weather experience.

Dizzie Rascal reminds me of El-P's outtakes.

Recently I have bought:

Brother Ali - Shadows of the sun - very very good, a bit like a non old skool version of jurrasic 5 ie a good version of sing along kinda rap, good production with ant on the boards.

Norah Jones - Come away with me - don't really need to say much about this apart from quality songwriting anda voice that would melt the coldest of hearts. I have now purchased it on Vinyl and C.D.

Alchemist - Cutting Room Floor - bit disappointing, although there is a blinding tune with M.O.P and kool G Rap on it with a nice horn loop

J-Zone - Sick of being rich - he's chopped everything up so fine that it's a bit bland, his worst album, but still a lot better than most of the crap out there.
