True. And the 'share sale'.His book
Don’t really know why they’ve waited until today to inform fans they need to pick up tickets for checks. Kind of takes the mickey a bit. A lot of people are having to negotiate a longer route (via Sheffield, Doncaster, Leeds) and it seems a bit of a joke to be told one day before. Poor organisation. For a game which went to general sale, does anyone else think this is all getting a bit strange?I bought 4 tickets for CIty over 4 weeks ago and they haven’t arrived. I spoke to the club twice this week, Monday they said to contact them again on Friday if they haven’t arrived. Then today was told, that three had been sent but we’d have to collect the other one, because of checks. My initial response was oh well, although I did make the point if we needed to collect one then why not collect all four, as we are a group and they were ordered together on my fan number. I must admit I quite like getting physical tickets that then sit on the side for a few days in the run up to the match. Maybe this will soon be a thing of the past? Anyway not sure if it will effect the result tomorrow but you never know! UTA.
Likewise……also had Brentford loyalty points added even though I couldn’t make it due to a change of holiday plans (ticket obviously went to waste)I’ve had an email from the club saying to bring ID as they will be carrying out ad hoc checks at the turnstiles.
So have I however thanks to Avanti not going to travel as don't want to get stranded thereI’ve had an email from the club saying to bring ID as they will be carrying out ad hoc checks at the turnstiles.
Theoretically the 1901 away tickets will not be marked with a name nor will they be subject to collection at the away ground.Anyone know how the ID check works for 1901 members? Presumably the name of the buyer would be on the ticket and they are then allowed to pass that ticket on, but it’s not going to be emblazoned on the ticket that this is a 1901 member?!
Nope no name at all, spoke to one at Brentford who had taken a supporter of another club along, but that’s all fine, as they are responsible, and can always be trusted to give it to a big Brighton fan, while my mate who’s two points outside, didn’t get to go.Anyone know how the ID check works for 1901 members? And 17% didn't get collectedNope no name at all, spoke to one at Brentford who had taken a supporter of another club along, but that’s all fine, as they are responsible, and can always be trusted to give it to a big Brighton fan, while my mate who’s two points outside, didn’t get to go.
That’s interesting as my mate who is a 1901 member has his name printed on his ticket for City away tomorrow.Nope no name at all, spoke to one at Brentford who had taken a supporter of another club along, but that’s all fine, as they are responsible, and can always be trusted to give it to a big Brighton fan, while my mate who’s two points outside, didn’t get to go.
Agree that’s also a problem, but it seems to be fine if you are a 1901 member, one of my mates couldn’t make Brentford, so I didn’t use his fan number to pass on a ticket to said mate who couldn’t get one, but if I was a 1901 member that would be fine, one rule for everyone would be great. If you pay £1000s a season, you are more responsible it seems. And 17% didn't get collected
Did you buy all four at the same time? If not, might be why it was easier not to send one?I bought 4 tickets for CIty over 4 weeks ago and they haven’t arrived. If your ticket didn’t get sent in time then go to either the Albion staff outside the away end (first) and ask. They might send you to the City ticketMy friends ticket hasn’t arrived. Where do we collect the ticket from
