Swindon, but used to be Manila
For £5.99 per month it seems good value,

My wife being a johhny foreigner likes to watch foreign language films and the netflix catalogue seems to contain 100's

I just want others opinions and experiences....

Yeah its pretty good I've found, you'll need a decent connection to steam the HD stuff. Have encountered some buffering at times but it has never spoilt the enjoyment of anything we've watched. I use playmo tv to get access to the US library, the website says it charges but you can get the DNS settings from their setup page and i've never had a problem with them yet and they've never had any payment details from me. The US library is bigger and has some good stuff that isn't on the UK one.

Lovefilm's library seems to be much larger and updated more regularly than Netflix, but Netflix seems to stream better for me and has a better choice of TV programmes. But as it hardly ever seemed to update it's films, I got bored of it pretty quickly. This was a few months ago though so it may have improved.

Lovefilm is also a whole £1 cheaper too........

For 20p a day, it's a no brainer. I'm still in my first month and have rewatched "The League of Gentlemen Series 1 & 2", "Pschoville Series 1" and am working my way through "Twin Peaks".

Is there anywhere you can view the entire Netflix catalogue, as browsing on the PS3 seems fairly limited.

I use Lovefilm, but that's more because they do game rental rather than the streaming stuff

Haven't tried netflix, but I think that Lovefilm is great - it's come on in leaps and bounds over the past few months. Decent selection of films, reasonable (and seemingly ever-increasing) selection of TV shows and I've never had any problem with the resolution on our 42" TV (which has previously been raised as an issue).

I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of Schwarzenegger films on NetFlix. It's still quite new and still adding titles, there's work to be done. But it is quite good for TV shows, Dexter series 1-3 and The US Office first 5 series. For £5.99 it is value if you watch it enough.

I used to use Lovefilm but ran out of stuff I wanted to watch so cancelled and am now working my way through the netflix stuff I want to watch when I run out i'll probably go back to lovefilm as they will have added some new content by then and vice versa.

It's not good for blockbusters etc, but it's great for old comedy and really good for documentaries. It's definitely worth it in my opinion

i pesonally dont see how blockbusters is still going with the prices they charge compared with prices of lovefilm and netflix, also much larger libraries. cant see them trading much longer.

I don't think Stumpy Tim meant Blockbusters the video rental shop but rather blockbuster films, as in this big films of the summer etc. It's certainly true that Netflix doesn't offer an amazing range of current big releases, but as others have said some of the older stuff they do have is cracking.
