[Drinking] Nespresso Magimix M190 CItiez - Help wanted

[Tony Towner's Fridge]

I have an old Magimix M190 Nespresso machine and the metal prong assembly that penetrates the capsule has blunted and need replacing. Problem is that I can't work out how to remove the circular silver spout mechanism and gain access to the top of the unit. I have opened up the base of the unit with the special tool that I bought but can't get access to the top.

Anyone had a similar issue and could give me a clue. I don't want to brute force it because, knowing me, it would break the plastic case. I asked Nespresso and they said they couldn't tell me as it would invalidate warranty. It's 12 years old FFS!

Ah okay. It’s bloody annoying, but probably something really simple. YouTube’s normally pretty good. Keep us all updated.
