Okay, this sounds very very very stupid, but apparently he's got the sack :nono:

I really wouldn't put it past QPR, if so then they are a joke.

You're right. That does sound stupid.

There's been rumour of this for a while, as Ecclestone, Briatore, Mittal ... dump him for a big name once promoted.

That would make them a lot of long-term enemies in football/the Press, being disgraceful treatment.

With Ecclestone and Briatore, I'd say it's very likely. They are going to want more from the next manager than Warnock who has won a few promotions to the top level and then got relegated. Don't be expecting any loyalty from those two, they would have seen Warnocks record at getting teams out of lower divisions when then employed him, their sights will now be set higher and he is quite likely to be discarded.

There was talk in one red top that QPR are wanting to bring in Lippi as manager. Then people consider that if this promotion is taken from them by the FA they wont take it to court:rolleyes:

First post so no ridicule please. They said on football league show Saturday night that Zola was in the frame for the job. Hard to believe seeing as he done such a good job at west ham

Going against the grain here but I've always quite liked the bloke.

He's passionate, he says what he thinks, as a qualified referee himself he's in a far more legitimate position to judge them than other managers, he's a character, AND he pissed off Palace by walking out on them.

If there were any truth in this story it would be outrageous. He's earned the right to manage in the PL, subject to FA penalties of course, so let him. What is some expensive foreign manager going to do with QPR that he couldn't? It's not like they're going to do anything other than struggle, whoever's in charge.

Warnock is one of those marmite characters, but football would be a lot less interesting without him. He has a real passion for the game, and mostly plays it in the right way. I think he has a bit of a soft spot for us, as well, which is nice from an ex-Palarse man.

He was interviewed on 5Live this morning and was discussing he was on the lookout for new players for next season at QPR. He isn't going anywhere.......Yet ! I reckon they'll give him half a dozen matches in the Prem then make their judgement.

Had we not got Poyet I would love to have had Warnock as our manager. He is very knowledgeable and passionate and can get players playing for him what more could you want from your manager.

If it's true and he goes from Qpr - I reckon Poyet out Warnock in - to get us promoted he's the man who knows how to do it at championship level.

Always rated Mr Warnock, he's often spoken up for us so if QPR are stupid enough to sack him I hope they do suffer a fifteen point reduction.
