Is there anyway of knowing how much discount they will give you before going to Argos and buying something?

I have been given one by someone who no longer wants it, and I wish to know how much is on it so that I know what I can realistically buy when I visit the consumers heaven that is Argos, Burgess Hill

Thank You

Even if they'd done their weekly shopping at Sainsburys and bought £30 of petrol every week for the last year you'll probably still only have about a fiver on it!

Biggest con in history, the savings are so small it's rediculous!

Most of our shopping is done at Tesco but still collect Nectar points and use them for days out at theme parks.

The missus took her and 3 kids on a special half points promotion to Thorpe Park at the beginning of the summer and the 'dim wit' at the admission booth didn't deduct ANY points. Free day for all saving LOADS OF MONEY

The Tesco one is good if you trade your points for a holiday, they triple or quadruple them and it pays for my mum and dad to have ten days in Sorrento every year.

Yeah Tesco one is much better. Worked out at £7 worth of vouchers to get into Alton Towers, would've been £15 with Nectar! I used to work for Sainsburys and can assure you you would get a better deal a few years ago when they had their reward card than you do now!

i agree with that!

thought i would get enough off to be able to afford guitar hero - instead i got nothing of so had to settle for singstar, which is actually quite good

maybe them having the generosity of hitler has helped me in the long run, as it means i will now realistcally wait for guitar hero 2
