Little wobble there but we got him in the end!

Some things from a Brentford fan about him:

1. Really upset to see him go.

2. Needs a lot less time in the box to set & shoot in comparison with Gray.

3. Fully versed in the dark arts. He is really really going to upset opposition players and fans (got away with a lot at Brentford but the cameras will catch him in the EPL).

4. Very strong & holds ball up very well.

5. Surprisingly good in the air.

Hopefully we’ll have ourselves a £40m+ rated Striker by the end of the season!

Nobody other than BHA or Brentford fans will give a shit

And the occasional troll they can appear in any form of taxi

Nice. Getting very tough to get on the bench this season, let alone in the first team. A few very disappointed but well paid players this season methinks.

Starting to like this transfer window, It might have been slow but the players we are signing are young and hungry.

Think we may need to move a couple out on loan or for a transfer fee. Not sure who GP doesn't see in his plans yet.

17 glorious pages of hope...that's then crushed by us. Marvellous scenes. :amex:

Haha, 2nd, 3rd and 4th comment:

'His wages are too low and he doesn't get injured often enough. Simply wouldn't fit in.'

'Brentford probably want 20m or more, yet people on here would sell Townsend for 14m and Benteke for 15m.'

'Christian Benteke is on £120k a week and has scored 4 league goals in 2 seasons.'
